There are three major versions of Mother Parasakti's blessings. They are:Kanchi Kamakshi, Madurai Meenakshi, Kasi Visalakshi Temple. Among them, the Kanchi Kamakshi Mother Temple is special. Kanchipuram, also known as Kamakoti Peetham, is one of the fifty Shakti Peethas in the holy earth of India (India). The perfect image of Sri Lalitha Tripurasundari is the original idol of Arulmigu Amman Kanchi Kamakshi.
MYTHOLOGY
Mother Kamakshi Kalaimala (Saraswati) and Thirumakal (Lakshmi) are her two eyes. The story of Mother Kamakshi Devi's awakening in Kanchimana, which boasts of its glory, is a powerful history.
Once upon a time, there was a monster called Bandakasura. He made many serious mistakes and received many gifts from Lord Brahma. With the gift of power and arrogance, he seized the three worlds and inflicted great suffering on the gods and the sages.
As the suffering of Bandhakasura was increasing day by day, the more suffering gods and sages went to Lord Shiva and cried out for their suffering. Shiva, realizing that Bandhakasura was so powerful because of the gifts of Lord Brahma, sent him to Parasakthi, saying, "The power to destroy the Bandhakasura is with Mother Parasakthi."
At that time, Mother Parasakthi Devi, in the Kanchipuram known as Kama Kottam, was sitting in a cenotaph and meditating on Lord Shiva. The Devas and sages came to the place where Mother was, and they worshiped her and told her their sorrows.
Amused by their plight, Anna promised to kill Bandaka and solve their plight. At that time, in a dark cave, Bandakasuran, knowing that he was sleeping, decided that it was time to kill him.
She came to Kanchipuram with a foot on Bandakasura's neck and a foot on her chest, chopping off his head and lifting one hand. The gods and sages who saw the Mother in furious form trembled and fell in fear.
Wanting to relieve their fear, Mother immediately showed them the image of a beautiful silky little girl with a smiling creepy face. The gods and sages who were so impressed by the sight, praised her many times.
Then she told them to dig a ditch in the place, bury the bandakasura in the ditch and erect a pillar in the burial place. When the devas dug a crater at the behest of the mother, they found a deadly monster named Malligan.
They prayed to Lord Mahavishnu to destroy the demon and save it. Accepting the demand of the gods, Mahavishnu fought with Mallaka. But every drop of blood from Malligan's body transformed into a monster.
Thus he created a giant monster army and fought a fierce battle with Mahavishnu. Mahavishnu, seeing that every drop of blood emanating from the demon's body was transformed into a demon, called upon Lord Shiva to help him.
During the battle, Lord Rudra came as Murthy. He created two giants and ordered them to drink all the drops of blood from Mallagan's body so as not to fall to the earth. The Giants did just that. Thus, once more monsters were prevented from appearing, Mahavishnu destroyed the demon with his samurai.
Then, as the mother ordered, twenty-four pillars were erected near the place where the burial of Bandhakaran was erected, and the Gayatri Hall was erected, and within that hall, a beautiful pedestal, and an image of the Mother was worshiped. Then, shutting the door, they were praising Mother from outside.
The next morning, at sunrise, they opened the door with great reverence. What a surprise. There they were amazed at the spectacular scenery they saw. Yes, in the middle of the Gayatri Hall, instead of the statue they installed, Goddess Kamakshi Devi gazed at the beautiful temple.
It is a friday day with the Tithi and the Pura star in the day of Svayambu Manuvantra, Kritha Yuga, Srimukha year, Krishna Paksham. Kamakshi was seen as the Raja Rajeswari, the infinitely compassionate king.
In the center of the Gayatri Hall, Mother appeared to the south east, with four arms, in the Padmasana column. In her four visions she found affection, inch, flower arrow, cane.
The devotees and sages who were so impressed by the beauty and kindness of Mother, prayed to Mother, to sit there and bless the world. According to their prayers, Kamakshi Mother sits on a beautiful pedestal amidst the twenty-four pillars of the Gayatri Hall.
Today, in the center of Kanchipuram, Mother Kamakshi Temple stands out as a beautiful and magnificent temple with five levels of beautiful Rajagopuram, a place of devotion to the eyes and mind. Mother Kamakshi in this temple is in the form of the three forms of the pillar, sudum, reason.
